International Genomics Consortium

The International Genomics Consortium (ÒIGCÓ), a 501 c3, bio-pharmaceutical research and development organization located in Phoenix, AZ, entered into a funding arrangement with the City of Phoenix and Maricopa County to fund the development of its cancer tissue bank. The City and County donated $10 million to IGC to start-up it operations. Subsequently, Bristol Myers Squibb (ÒBMSÓ) and Eli Lilly (ÒLillyÓ) joined the consortium to facilitate joint research on new oncology drugs contributing an additional $10 million dollars to IGC to augment the underlying research.
